Our Music Ministry rehearses every Tuesday at 7:00 PM. New Destiny is blessed to have the following choirs: ANGELICS (mass choir), MAJESTICS (Male Chorus), and the CHERUBS (Children & Youth).

New Destiny is blessed to have a great aggregation of gifted musicians. Our musicians are: Bro. Serrell Mahone (Minister of Music), Bro. Theodis Barnes (Percussionist), Bro. Lenzy Christopher (Bassist), and Bro. Rick Swim, (Guitarist).

New Destiny Christian Fellowship takes very seriously our commitment to raise our children and youth in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Many of us are blessed to be in church today. Many have been in the world and safely returned, because the adults in their lives took time to train us, teach us, and to make sure we heard the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christian Education and Spiritual Formation is the foundation of what we seek to provide all of our members and especially to our children and youth.

Toward this end we not only teach them, we also make sure that they play a regular role in the worship ministry. Our children and youth are welcome to participate as ushers, scripture readers, nurses, and in our music ministry.

We are blessed to have Sis. Jackie Boatwright providing leadership for the overall Children and Youth Ministry.

During our service we have developed the “DESTINY ZONE” which is place of Christian nuture and education where your children can be dropped off during our regular worship service from 10:45 AM – 12 Noon. After they are brought back into the worship service and supervised as they sit together.

We encourage you to come out and to bring your children as we prepare the next generation of servants.
